- Curd

- Lemon juice
- Cinnamon
- Elaichi
- Cardamom
- Cloves
- Shahi Jeera
- Saffron milk
- Refined oil
- Butter/ Ghee
Easy biryani recipe
Now lets start the easy chicken biryani recipe, step by step.
Ø Chicken biriyani is all about two things, first one is rice and the other one is chicken.
Ø The secret to a tasty chicken
biriyani always lies in the rice. You can also refers biriyani recipe as biryani rice recipe. So always choose rice that is low fragranced
so that the rice can hold all strong flavor of masalas.
Ø In a bowl put the chicken, curd,
ginger garlic paste, some chopped green chillies, red chilli powder, mint
leaves, coriander leaves, cinnamon, cardamom, elaichi, cloves, Shahi jeera,
biriyani masala, chicken masala and salt to it. At last add some saffron and
mix it well and keep the chicken for around 30 minutes.
Ø During that time, in a rice cooker
let the water boil. Add some cinnamon, cardamom, elaichi, and ghee/butter to
it, after this put rice soaked for 30 minutes. For the first few minutes give
it a roaring boil after that cook until it cooked to 70-80%.
Ø In another pan put some oil and
ghee. Heat it and put the marinated chicken into it. Cook the chicken till it
50% cooked.
Ø The most important part is giving it
dum. In a dish make alternative layer of rice and cooked chicken. Add mint
leaves, fried onion and coriander leaves in every layer. At last put some
saffron milk on top and don’t forget to seal it properly. Put it on a dum.
Ø After 10-15 minutes your chicken biriyani is ready to be served with raita or salad.
